Question: why do some masculine guys like to (secretly) dress up as a woman and feminize all the way? make up perfume th?

I've known a few people like this. And, they've all started to transition to female. It seems weird, I know... but hear me out. I, myself, am a transsexual. I didn't take the super-masculine approach, but some people I know have.

In an effort to prove to yourself, and others that you are a man you go all the way with it. Some people join the military, some get "ripped" bodies. There are a lot of different ways to "prove" you're a man. But, your brain just keeps nagging you.

In secret you dress up as a woman, and you want to be a woman... but you rationalize dressing up as something else. It's hard to come out, even to yourself, and say... I'm a transsexual.

Dressing up in private is a way to make yourself feel loved for who you feel you are, not who everybody sees you as. If others knew about it, then you wouldn't be that manly man.

I know not everybody does it for this reason, but this is the reason I know that people do it.

Well t'is not only masculine guys who like to cross dress. I myself am not exactly of that appearance, but I am a long time married cross dresser, with a supportive, understanding, accepting, knowledgeable, and helpful wife who has taught me all the traits to emulate women, from presentation, to walking, standing, sitting, mannerisms, make up, hair, nails, etc and my wardrobe currently is quite extensive, including 42 pair of HIGH HEELS (and I do mean HIGH) and I own probably more feminine articles than the average g/g, including jewelry, but all of this for me is a lifestyle not a hobby or a passing "fancy".
(Food for thought - was wondering if this is the "same" Danielle as the one in Virginia..?)

Here are a few seporate thoughts.

You are simpley expressing another part of yourself is all. If you consider yourself a straight masculine guy and want to express your softer side then go for it. You see to be softer you are going all the way and there is nothing wrong with that. If you think of yourself as straight then when you dress up in fem you must like guys because you are female.

There are some that dress up in fem to become there own fantasy. If you become your own fantasy then you act as you know she would. Again there is no problems.

Now there is a third thought that could also be in play here. Many transexuals will surpress there fem side. When they do this they become over masculine, ie foot ball team, join the services, work out... Becuse they dont want to have anyone suspect how they really feel. So basically they over compensate.

You could fit in any above or all, part or even none. You will simply have to make your own place in this world. You are not alone and can find other sisters around you.
